Hot dog breath

Posted on

Many years ago, when our family was much younger, Poppy did not want a dog. He had many reasons: they’re expensive, they’re dirty and smelly, they require constant care and attention, they shed and drool over everything. He was also very concerned about hot dog breath on his shoulder (that’s hot dog breath, not hot dog breath).

He’s gotten over it.

On a side note, yesterday was our 100th post on Nap A Day. That’s a lot of photos of one dog, usually at rest. We’re not sure whether to ask for congratulations or forgiveness!

  1. Congratulations on your century. I now prefer weekdays to weekends as I don’t get my daily Pickles on Saturday and Sunday.

    • Thanks, David – we’d normally say something like “aw, shucks,” but that would be an affront to Ms. P herself, who doesn’t believe in modesty (false or otherwise).

  2. Looks like Poppy has turned around completely…dogs have a way of doing that with people…

Are you sure he was talking about pups? He may have been talking about kids.

Congrats on making it to 100 posts. We are enjoying following Ms. Pickles and her naps. Something about watching a pup or baby sleeping that makes us get so so zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
